The Kermesse Menotti Art Festival Spoleto 2021 ended with the Thomas Schippers International Prize.The ceremony by the artistic director Tania Di Giorgio was well coordinated, with extraordinary high profile award winners: Maurizio Barbacini (conductor of orchestra), Davide Delli Santi (conductor of orchestra), Fabio Armiliato, Francesco Bruni, Daniela Barcellona (opera), Giovanni Bonani (media), Silvia Calandrelli Director of Rai culture who delegated Lorenzo Ottolenghi (deputy director), Piero Cappuccilli (in memory), Amelia Gianni, Francesca Patanč, Edgardo Somigliana, Mika Kunii (international opera singer). Afterwards, two other academic appointments of the Auge Academy were made to Maria Luisa Astorri and to Liliana Cosė for the very long artistic and cultural commitment carried out over the years as approved by the rector Prof Giuseppe Catapano. The prize works were performed and donated by the artists Silvio Amato and Iallussi Sevasti. This edition of the Menotti Art Festival Spoleto has had enormous success at all levels and with the qualitative and organizational improvement in the art in the City formula. Satisfied all the artistic directors from Sandro Trotti to Tania Di Giorgio, from Paola Biadetti (Spoleto meeting art) to Angelo Sagnelli (literature) and Alessandro Calonaci (Theater) for the numbers and the quality achieved, the same together with the president Luca Filipponi declared : "We are already working for 2022 with important bookings from China and America and above all with the assignment of the new artistic poster to the famous American artist Edward Evans. Results and important numbers that make this event one of the most important in the world and one of the first in Italy and certainly unique for its formula.
